The ASN Inter-University Neurology Quiz 2026 was successfully concluded on 8 August 2026 at the Courtyard by Marriott Colombo, marking the 6th edition of this annual event. Twelve universities from across Sri Lanka competed for the championship, showcasing their knowledge and enthusiasm for Neurology.
The initiative for the ASN Inter-University Neurology Quiz was first introduced by the 2020 ASN President, Dr Senaka Bandusena, with the aim of enhancing knowledge and interest in Neurology among final-year medical students.
Although the inaugural event was initially planned for 2020, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was subsequently held on 20 July 2021 as a fully virtual event.
Since then, ASN has successfully conducted the Inter-University Neurology Quiz annually and consecutively, making it a much-anticipated event among medical students across Sri Lanka.
